π π Before: Yes, believe it or not there’s a stile and fingerpost under all that ivy!
After π π : PathFix volunteers MS & SC cleared the completely overgrown stone step stile, and volunteers JW & MC then fitted a handrail to make it reasonably safe to use. .

π Before: We fixed this overgrown and rotting stile at Lindal, where path 602043 sets off towards Marton.
Cleared π π : First, PD cleared massive amounts of ivy.
Fixed π π : Then TL & GC fixed the stile itself.

π π Before: This stile, near Smithy Green Farm on the path towards Penny Bridge, had a broken and part-overgrown stile leading into the wood. The rails and uprights were secure but both steps were rotted and at least one step support post was in danger of collapsing.
After π π : It is now secure and fully usable, after PathFix volunteers TL & GC replaced both steps and all their support posts.

π π Before: And the old steps were rotting on the stile at the other end of that path, where it leaves the wood onto the lane above Penny Bridge Church.
After: So they replaced both steps on that stile. π π
