Our teams have now fixed quite a few broken/unsafe stiles and other problems on the first section of the Cumbria Way, from Ulverston to Gawthwaite: –

• Seceral wooden step stile repairs between Old Hall Farm and Higher Lath.
• Unsafe stone step stile over high wall completely rebuilt at Higher Lath.
• Waymark posts added in several places, to fill in gaps in waymarking.
